In the first two volumes of the “ve Sinem” series, we got to know our characters and we observed their reactions to social events. In the third volume, however, we witness their attempts to escape from their personal histories and embarrassing pasts.

We witness Engin confronting the reality that the youth he longs for is not as he remembered it to be after spending a day with his university friend Zeynep, Alper’s secrets hidden behind the nickname “Kral/King” coming to light through his eternal rival Tavşan/ Rabbit, the consequences of jealousy-filled intrigues that shake the foundation of the friendship between Kübra and Sinem, and many other events that reopen old wounds, all of which lend meaning to the characters’ absurd behaviors in this volume.
